A Place Built for Keller
The Local Watering Hole was created with a simple idea in mind: a place where Keller locals can unwind, enjoy great food and drinks, and feel right at home.
The Local has grown into a neighborhood staple — a spot where familiar faces, friendly conversations, and good times are part of everyday life.

Locally Owned. Family Operated.
Owned and operated by David and Britney DeJesus, The Local Watering Hole reflects everything they love about the Keller community. As long-time Keller residents, their goal was never to create something flashy or overdone — they wanted to build a bar that felt welcoming, comfortable, and truly local.
In May 2022, The Local entered a new chapter under their ownership, bringing fresh energy while staying true to the spirit that made it a favorite in the first place. With thoughtful updates — including a full restroom renovation and continued improvements — they’ve focused on making The Local an even better place to gather.

Hands-On Ownership. Real Community.
David and Britney are hands-on owners who take pride in being present and involved. From the atmosphere to the staff, every detail is shaped with intention. The result is a place where guests are treated like regulars from day one and where staff and patrons alike feel like part of the same family.
Whether you’re stopping in after work, catching a game, meeting friends for dinner, or just looking for a casual place to relax, The Local is built to be your go-to.
